No One Ever Complained About Cheap Flights

Young traveller booking flights online

I know some people wouldn’t dare travel now with the current pandemic going around. At least I wouldn’t and I really don’t think anyone should be except it’s so urgent, that the world might end. Then yes, please, save the world.

But the coronavirus will leave just as it came and life will assume normalcy. By normalcy I mean flight rates will jump back to the usual, if not higher given that summer is around the corner. To prepare you for that season of overcalculating your trips, here are a few tricks I use for budget-friendly flights.

Travel websites are your friends

Get on the bandwagon of flight booking services. Google them. There are apps that are so great with flights and hotels. I compare across three special ones to get the best or should I say the most affordable hotel. I can share some of them in the comment if you drop a note requesting. 🙂

Something to note: When you are booking your flight, the web services have options that let you see other days in the month with cheaper rates. And some of them have a feature to notify you once flight rates drop. Isn’t that the beauty we require?

To spend my money or get on that 18-hour trip?

Of course, you know I’m all about saving that money. So yes, 18-hour trip. Do not judge me!  Inconvenience is temporary, the travel experience is eternal.

It’s all about the seasons baybeee!

Okay please, hear me out! I know it’s not the season to travel around the world but, please hold on a minute, prices are dropping and now might be a good time to book ahead. Just saying!

December! Oh, dear December. I stay completely away from booking flights at this time. It’s so painful when I see a flight for $500 in March and December is like $2,000. Please, why?! Summer is quite similar but nothing beats that end of year increase! Whew, chile!

Book ahead!

Let me just emphasize this again, even though I know you know this. Airlines seem to think you have a lot of money when you book a flight to leave the next day so the prices go waaayyyy above the roof! I try to have a travel plan for the year so that keeps me sane.
